MRSLPF: My educational philosophy hinges on the ideal that all students can learn; I feel that it is my duty to find a creative, dynamic, challenging, inclusive, and interactive way of teaching and reaching every student. My magnificent math mantra is as follows: "It is better to know five ways to solve one problem than one way to solve five." I majored in Political Science and International Economics in undergraduate school with the intent to enroll in law school. I had an eleventh hour eureka moment that led me away from law and towards a path to teaching. I've never looked back. I have taught every grade in elementary and middle school with the exception of Kindergarten and have served as an elementary math coach and math specialist. I began my career in Fairfax County, Virginia, then spent quite a few years in Loudoun County, Virginia. This is my second year serving the teachers and students of Wake County.
